Application process
You have found your maritime job. But what happens next? Below, we will explain how you could become our new colleague in six steps. Do you have any questions about this? Then please do not hesitate to contact us!
Application
Of course, the first step is applying for the vacancy that appeals to you. Or sending us your open application. In both cases, you do this through a letter, accompanied by your CV. You can email this to hr@htsaqua.nl.
Interview
Do your letter and CV appeal to us? We will call you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment. During this interview, we want to learn more about you as a person, about your experience and about the expectations you have of the position for which you have applied. On our part, we will provide you with information about the position and the corresponding responsibilities. If we do not respond to your letter, we have selected someone else.
Terms of employment
We assume that we will both be enthusiastic after the interview. This means we can proceed to the next phase. We will discuss your salary and terms of employment with you. After that, we will arrange all the paperwork together, so that your employment can be finalised.
One-month probationary period
Even if both you and we are initially enthusiastic, you may discover that working aboard our barges is not quite your thing after a couple of weeks. For that reason, we always have a one-month probationary period for new employees to our fleet.

Once you are out on the water, we will regularly stay in touch with you. We want to know how you are enjoying working in our fleet and what you may require to perform your tasks even better.
